Volunteer Opportunities: We have many ways you can help support the school. All volunteers must complete the district's background check prior to volunteering: OSD Online Volunteer Application.
🚛🍦🌻 Touch A Truck, Ice Cream, Garden Work Party, and Annual Fundraiser kickoff
⭐ Track Stars - Fridays 10:20 - 10:35. Two volunteers are needed each week to track laps, hand out charms, and ensure safety. SIGN UP HERE
🍿 Popcorn Fridays. Two volunteers are needed each week (except half days) from 8:30 - 10:30 AM to pop and deliver popcorn to every classroom. SIGN UP HERE

- Sunday, May 3, 1 - 4 PM | Garfield Elementary front parking area & garden
- Touch A Truck | Join Garfield Elementary PTA, City of Olympia Public Works, Parks Arts & Recreation, Police, Fire and local partners for a hands-on look at the City's big rigs and family friendly activities! Sensory friendly time 1:00 - 1:30 PM. All are welcome!
- Ice Cream | PTA will also be selling Ice Cream treats to help kick off our annual fundraiser
- Garden Work Party | Come check out what's happening in our Garfield Garden and lend and hand!

- PTA is sponsoring Ember Goods Coffee cart + gifts for Teachers and Staff

- This event raises money for the Garfield Elementary Library

- Field Day This is a fun one! The afternoon of one of the last days of school we put on a variety of fun and active events for students.
- Fundraisers - Work from home helping us to promote our various passive fundraisers: eScript (Safeway), Fred Meyer, Thriftway, etc.
- Spring Fundraiser - We hold a fundraiser each spring to raise money for PTA activities. Volunteers are needed for event planning and coordination.
